Measuring the Efficiency of the Azerbaijan Banking System with Data Envelopment Analysis (2015-2019)

It is the duty of Central Bank Azerbaijan Republic to apply monetary policy for development banking system in Azerbaijan. The responsible balanced and efficient use banks' resources growth economy throughout country. In this study, measurement efficiency all 25 banks operating between 2015 - 2019 was investigated with CCR, BCC Super models an input-oriented Data Envelopment Analysis. According analysis result, inefficient were identified compared, potential improvement suggestions developed banks. With this, it thought that could be used more efficiently. As a result observed has increased over years.
